My name is Dafallah, I live in Wadi Rum, my family always lives there, my parents still live in their Bedouin tent, in the desert, they move from place to place, in all seasons.
They choose shaded areas for the hot summer, and sunny ones for the cold winter, protected from strong winds and rain. They have goats and camels.

 We respect nature and never build anything in the desert (unlike most other living creatures who build camps in the protected Wadi Rum desert, destroying the landscape). According to Bedouin tradition, our camps are only wanderers, and as soon as we leave to discover the desert after sunrise, no trace of our trail remains. We select sites according to the season: sunny in the morning in winter and shaded in summer.

We enjoy the natural rocky caves that nature provides to pitch our camp at night. In this way we enjoy the warmth of the sun-filled rocks by day, as well as the splendid starry sky. The embers left by the fire that was lit to prepare the meal provide a soft heat that allows sleeping without a tent most of the year. Our blankets are very warm but we can also provide you an individual tent if you wish.
When our families are not too far away in the desert, we like to introduce them to our visitors. Sharing the evening and the meal with them is always an authentic and sharing moment.                               
In the heart of winter, when the nights are cold and windy, we set up a real Bedouin tent in a sheltered place, thanks to the firewood, the temperature is very pleasant.

Our equipment, carried on the roofs of jeeps, consists of thick, comfortable mattresses, covers, blankets and individual tents for the winter.
We recommend that sensitive people bring a personal sheet or sleeping bag, even if it is light.\
